All copyrights to submitted artworks remain with the artist. The artist grants Apanage a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to present their work and name on Apanage-controlled channels (including website, social media, and printed materials) for archiving, documentation, and event-related purposes for the duration of and following the relevant edition. This does not affect the artist's statutory moral rights. The usage right may be revoked in writing for future use.

Apanage retains the right to use documentation produced during the event (photography, video, written materials) for institutional purposes, including press, archive, and promotional content, unless the Participant has explicitly objected in writing prior to the event.

Rights to Recordings of Participants

By participating in an edition of Apanage Days, the Participant grants Apanage the right to photograph and film them in the context of the event and to use such recordings for institutional purposes including press, archive, and promotional content, in accordance with §22 KUG. Participants who do not wish to be photographed or filmed must notify Apanage in writing prior to the event. This right does not extend to commercial use of a Participant's likeness without separate written consent.

Warranty and Indemnification

The Participant warrants that they are the sole author and rights holder of all submitted works, or that they hold all necessary rights and permissions for the submitted works. The Participant indemnifies Apanage against all claims, damages, and costs arising from any infringement of third-party intellectual property rights in connection with submitted works. Apanage assumes no liability for rights violations caused by submitted content.
